A rede de fast food Taco Bell lança campanha que ironiza a onda de se lançar produtos não comestíveis usando bacon ou fazendo referências a ele, como um despertador que acorda as pessoas com seu cheiro, um protetor solar de bacon ou até fio dental que usa a iguaria.

"Bacon you can't eat is bacon you don't need", defende a assinatura da nova comunicação, criada pela Deutsch LA.

O principal comercial da campanha, "Bacon Mall", imagina um shopping center onde todos os produtos são feitos de bacon. Uma série de comerciais de 15 segundos zombam de produtos específicos, como uma água de colônia feita com bacon ou de fones de ouvido do mesmo material.
