Globo de Ouro 2021

Os indicados deste ano ao Globo de Ouro foram divulgados nesta quarta-feira, 03, pela Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). A premiação será no dia 28 de fevereiro em formato diferente por causa da pandemia. Pela quarta vez, Tina Fey e Amy Poehler serão as apresentadoras, mas cada uma estará em uma cidade. Tina, em Nova York. E Amy, em Los Angeles. Os indicados serão apresentados em suas cidades.

Um dos grandes destaques nas indicações é a Netflix. Na relação ligada ao cinema, a empresa obteve 22 menções – em segundo lugar ficou a Amazon Studios, com 7. Na parte relativa à TV (onde estão seus principais competidores no mercado de streaming), a plataforma conquistou 20 indicações. A segunda posição ficou com a HBO, com 7.

Na parte de cinema, “Mank”, da Netflix, foi a produção com mais menções: 6. Em seguida está outro título da plataforma, “Os 7 de Chicago”, que obteve 5 indicações. Na premiação dedicada à TV, a série mais nomeada é “The Crown”, da Netflix. Ela obteve 6 indicações. Em seguida está a comédia “Schitt’s Creek”, originalmente da PopTV (ViacomCBS), com 5 - no Brasil, ela pode ser vista na Amazon e no canal Comedy Central.

Outro destaque é que, pela primeira vez na história do Globo de Ouro há mais de uma mulher indicada na categoria de Melhor Direção. Neste ano, são três: Chloé Zhao por “Nomadland”, Regina King por “Uma Noite em Miami” (“One Night in Miami”) e Emerald Fennel por “Bela Vingança” (“Promising Young Woman”).

A indicação póstuma de Chadwick Boseman ao troféu de Melhor Ator em Filme de Drama, por "A Voz Suprema do Blues", é mais um ponto que chama atenção na lista do Globo de Ouro 2021.

Os prêmios especiais desta edição vão para Jane Fonda, no cinema (Cecil B. de Mille), e para Norman Lear, na TV (Carol Burnett).
