SXSW 2023

O SXSW sempre tem "celebridades" entre seus palestrantes e debatedores. Na edição 2023, que começa nesta sexta-feira, 10, e vai até o dia 19, a lista traz nomes cultuados há gerações, caso do ator William Shatner, a estrelas da comédia, como Chelsea Handler, Anna Kendrick e Jake Johnson, que estarão no “Variety Power of Comedy”, que reconhece talentos do gênero.

Alguns artistas presentes no festival estarão apresentando longas, como Eva Longoria, que estará numa sessão de "Flamin' Hot", sua estreia na direção, no sábado 11, às 13h15. Antes disso, ela estará em um painel às 11h30, para falar do filme, que conta a história de um ex-funcionário da Frito Lay (Richard Montañez), que utilizou sua herança mexicana para criar o Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, um fenômeno global. A produção estreia na plataforma Hulu, em junho.

Outro filme que será exibido no SXSW é “Problemista”, com Tilda Swinton e o ator e rapper RZA, na segunda 13, às 21h. Tilda é uma das keynotes do festival e estará no palco do Austin Convention Center na data. Já RZA estará no SXSW na quarta. Vale destacar que um documentário que conta a vida e carreira de Will Shatner, “You can call me Bill” também tem sessão no festival, no dia 16, quinta, data de painel com o eterno capitão Kirk, de Star Trek.
