Ad Council: saúde mental de pessoas negras e hispânicas

Como parte da campanha “Seize the Awkward”, o Ad Council (leia e assista anterior, aqui) se concentra em pessoas negras e hispânicas, de 16 a 24 anos, em uma tentativa de levá-las a se abrir sobre sua saúde mental.

Criado pelo Ad Council em parceria com a American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, a Jed Foundation e a Droga5, o filme “We Can Talk About It” (assista abaixo) mostra as respostas que os jovens negros podem obter em suas lutas de saúde mental, incluindo comentários chamando doença mental “uma coisa de pessoas brancas” e pessoas dizendo para “pensar em coisas mais felizes”.

O esforço é composto por peças para o meio digital, social, out of home e para mídia impressa.

Os jovens negros e hispânicos/latinos enfrentam desafios adicionais no acesso aos cuidados que merecem”, declara o CEO da Jed, John MacPhee.

A campanha mais ampla, criada em 2018, visa reduzir as taxas de suicídio em adultos jovens.
